My wife wasn’t feeling great the other day, but it passed quickly and both of us tested negative.

Out on the highways this week I saw a boat being drive here from Wyoming. That’s a long way to bring a boat.

It’s been hot all week. Today our air-conditioning started blowing the circuit breaker and shutting off. Hopefully that won’t last.

Friday was on line game night.

Saturday morning we set off for the beach and got there before it got crowded.

It’s never very crowded at this beach.

We did both go in the water, but I didn’t bring any waterproof cameras with me, so I don’t have photos of it. Lots of little fishes this year.

A fair number of other folks did show up. For this beach, this is crowded.

My wife stayed in the water much longer than I did.

We drove past the other beach I went to as a kid and then around town until buying lunch at the market there.

Last time we went to this beach, traffic was very bad. This year it was, but going the other way.

Today it was again very hot, so we called off sword practice and went to the art museum near where my wife and I met 39 years, 7 days ago.

They have a special exhibit on Egyptian jewelry.

One of the things I like about it is they talk a lot about the materials and where it comes from as well.

Lots of nice things there.

This is a cool portrait from 2 millennia ago.

The Carter watercolors are particularly nice and rare to be on display.

They had an interesting sniff part where you could smell some of the herbs used there. Some still common, some not.

We went to the gift shop and bought enough to need the bench to hold it.

There was another exhibit we went to one at a time to make sure that we didn’t bring the gift shop bad in and try and steal stuff.

Then we went for a nice lunch, got some frozen treat and I bought some new shoes. But, no photos of any of that…
