On the way into work today, I saw a hot air balloon.

I see them in this area fairly often. But, not usually when it is below freezing. It had the sign for a local credit union on it, and was more or less over one of their offices. I feel bad for any person who was told it was their job to be up there before dawn on a freezing morning to promote their branch office.
But, you get more lift on a cold day, so I guess it is a good day to balloon if you can keep warm.

I am in charge of agency testing where I work. I do a lot of UL testing, flame testing, acoustic testing, strength testing, life cycle testing and pretty much anything else that needs it.
Some of the tests I do myself. Some of the tests need to be done by a certified lab.
One of the labs that does a lot of my flame testing sent me a package today. I opened it and it look to be a chocolate box.
“How nice of them to send me candy for the holiday,” I said. “I’ve only spent $20,000 of flame testing this year...”
I opened the box, and my first thought was not “chocolate”...

“They sent me chocolate turds?” I asked, looking at the box.
But, a closer look revealed that they were actually chocolate “buffalo wings” with white chocolate “dipping sauce”.

Strange. But, I ate them.

Finally, I’ve updated the average Phoenix Swords performance location.

It’s just outside of Princeton, NJ.
Looks like a fairly nice place as well.

I’m still tempted to show up there and do a show at our “average” location.
Of course, we should move quickly and get this place with the swimming pools and all.
If we wait for the Toys for Tots show the weekend after next, the average location will move to a graveyard in Princeton. Don’t want that.
