I had to go into the office Tuesday. I was unhappy about this, but my coworkers were in more trying to train the service people on how to install our units the right way.
The one in the red shoes has been doing it 5 years now, but did it wrong twice in the last month.

Going home in the rain was a traffic jab like the pre-Covid days.

The weather Wednesday was much nicer.

We got our ballots in the mail Tuesday evening, so filled them out Wednesday. We confirmed the official place to drop them off and I brought them there.

There was also an unintended experiment involving measurement spoons and the garbage disposal.

None of these packages are for my building.

It’s clear there are favorites at the supermarket and gluten free is not popular.

Anyone interested in what our apartment is like, they’ve put the floor plan on line.

Saturday we had an on line sword troupe meeting.

It was nice to see folks, but no more jobs this year…
We tried to do an on line game with the god kids, but they didn’t make it. (It’s not even clear if they had read the invitation email…)

Today we drove off to the botanical garden again. It’s close to our house, we’re members so get free tickets, and you can bring in a picnic lunch. So, it’s a good way to get out of the house.

And, the drive isn’t too bad.

Our goal was to find all the mythical creatures we missed last time.

Last time we missed 5,6,8&9

It didn’t take long to find the first ones

And, a quick walk found the next too.

Then, off into more of the gardens.

It’s good to know where to go if society collapses to make ink to write to folks.

These reeds are going to seed.

I don’t know who left this "Frozen" mask behind, but I bet they are sad about it.

We did find the dragon’s nest…

This one tree did stand out a lot.

And, the view from the top of the hill is very nice.

My wife does like the formal garden.

But, it was the place with the view where we had our picnic lunch.

After lunch we did go back and find the missing monster. I hadn’t seen it, even though I walked right past it. I was looking for something more yellow.
But, my wife spotted the sign.

Then, we set out to drive around the reservoir between us and the mountain.

It’s a nice drive.
