Lack of air
Aug. 27th, 2019 08:42 amMy car’s “low tire pressure light came on yesterday on my way to work”.
The morning was cool for summer. (About 10C.) And, by the time I got to work it was off.
This morning, it was on again and I needed gas. So, I got to the gas station and put in my $1.50 for air.
There is a little gage on the filling hose that tells you the pressure.
It was going down.
So, instead of filling my tires, I paid $1.50 to drain them more.
I didn’t buy gas there an went to another place. Couldn’t find an air pump, so I asked.
“Oh, it’s inside the garage. But, that doesn’t open for an hour.”
So, I drove to a third place and that finally had an air pump that worked. Cost another $1.25.
And, all the way to work, the light stayed on.
I don’t know why it is so hard to find air for my tires in my home town. This usually happens in winter when it’s cold, and many are frozen over.
There is no reason for it to happen now.
