A bear and the woods

We started by going to the Swiss Bakery on the way to Boston.

Then, into Boston proper.

At the time, Boston was sunny, but weather comes from the west and that was cloudy.

There seemed to be a lot of geese.

We got to the art museum in plenty of time.

There were those geese again.

I was surprised to see small trees growing out of the side of the museum.

We were there to see the bear exhibit. https://www.mfa.org/exhibitions/winnie-the-pooh

It had some interesting stuff. I liked the sketches.

These are not the original animals. They are in New York City. I’ve seen them there.
These are replicas for that movie they had this summer.

It was nice they had a lot of kids size things and kid things to do.

The exhibit was bigger than the special hall, so they expanded into a corridor.

They had some stuff on the making of it too.

This was one of my favorites.

Then, off to there rest of the museum. And, benches…

My wife liked this suggestion:

They also had a special propaganda exhibit.

Some interesting ideas about it.

Then, back towards our neck of the woods.

Those geese man… At least they use the crosswalks.

We stopped at the Natick Mall on the way back. They are so fancy their have an escalator for their shopping carts.

Then, lunch at one of our favorite places.

Then, off to Tower Hill Botanical Gardens. https://www.towerhillbg.org

Being a member helped as there was a line of cars waiting to get in. We got to skip that.

I do like the view.

They had a special on carnivorous plants. I really liked them as a kid.

And, lithops, my favorite kind of succulent.

And, big vegetable and fruit.

There did seem to be a lot going on.

I liked that they had things for kids like race cars made from plants.

We walked about the gardens.

My wife likes this kind.

We sat in these chairs a bit.

Then through the woods a bit.

We visited the chipmunk condo system.

Then, across the fields.

To the other gardens.

They’ve already started selling tickets for their holiday light thing that starts in late November. But, they are clearly getting ready.

There were kinds of plans my wife couldn’t find the name of, and it bothered her.

The bees were out in force.

And, there did seem to be lots of plants going well.

Then, home and laundry.
But, it was still a nice day.
