The days are getting shorter. I need my lights on in the morning and will soon going home at night.

Weird things happen at work. Someone strung a wire across our software engineer’s office, then hung a Chewbaca on it. Don’t know what that’s about.

Wednesday I was at work until 9:30, so the moon was just coming up as I got home.

As I came into our apartment building a big grasshopper hit me in the head.

It was still there in the morning.

Along with a clip on bow tie on the front steps.

Something strange is going on. Who knows what? Bow ties and very limited plagues of locust are weird.
Thursday a moving truck stopped the road to work to let a turtle cross.

But, the guy got out of the truck to do it and this distracted the turtle, so we were there for a few minutes while he tried to convince the turtle to go into the swamp.
Eventually it did.
Our goddaughter is sending me gifts in Pokemon go. This is the most she has ever communicated back to my weekly letters.

Friday the systems engineer where I work complained the robot was badly designed as the contact point was "too high to work".
I pointed out he had the adjustment jammed to the top, so saying it was too hight when jammed at the top was a less than brilliant observation.
