As you may remember, about a month ago my wife and I went to Florida while the troupe did a job without us in Maine.

Now, despite what some people think, I don’t have a problem with the troupe doing jobs without me. The very first Phoenix Swords job was done without me there.

But, stuff goes on when I’m not there.

That’s right. While I wasn’t there, they made Blackbeard where a sheep hat.

Now, there’s a long habit of us putting people in sheep hats:


But, Blackbeard?
In a sheep hat.
While I’m 1000 miles away.

That’s just wrong.
Totally wrong.

That’s just the sort of thing I’d want to be there to see in person!

Ah, but did anyone get "shot" and fall off the dock into the ocean ?

I think probably not !?

Even though many people can fill a sheep hat, no one else can fill your shoes ! Take consolation in that, at least ;-)

ssssssorta this year.

Daithlu (or whatever his name is), was walking backwards with the video camera on the gangway towards the Pirate boat, filming me stealing the booty and making way towards said ship...

I noticed how quickly he was approaching the steps that he was obvlious to and kept saying "Stop...Stop...Stop STOP..STAIRS....STAIRS!!!" he wasn't paying attention he was too caught up in the moment, his heel hit the first drop of the step, and he nearly tumbled ass of kettle into the 2 foot water with rocks and dock...Me nearly dying a thousand deaths...He just barely caught his balance and nearly bowled over some innocent bystanders...

Wanted to put his face against the muzzle of one of the carronades...But just as well. At least he didn't get hurt. :p

Okay, folks would have went into the water if we weren't on the rocky side of the harbor. Hell we tried to figure out how to fall off the boat but their insureance won't cover it. As for Blackbeard in a sheeps hat.....When your good your good, and when your bad your even better.;)
