(Last) Week in photos
Oct. 17th, 2017 09:34 pmMy wife had Columbus day off, so drove off and met me for lunch.

When driving back to the office I saw something strange in an upstairs window near where I work. I said "I’ll look at the photo later and figure it."
Nope, still don’t know.

As I’ve written about elsewhere, I lost a tire on this corner on Monday evening.

I went back Tuesday morning looking for the missing hubcap. It was much nicer then.

(The hubcap turned out to be in the back of my car. The tire repair person just had not dug deep enough to find it.)
It looks like other folks must have encountered the same potholes as people had put cones in them by Tuesday morning.

My wife bought this.

It did not seem to make her as happy as she had hoped.

I guess, for reasons not clear to me, she had envisioned me wearing it. This has yet to happen.
It’s pretty dark when I go off to work these days.

The sun starts to come up as I drive in.

It’s still up when I start home, but I don’t always get home before it sets.

I am glad this was never my school bus.

I pointed my camera behind me on my way home from work to get a photo of a very aggressive truck driver just in time to see them illegally go into the high speed lane.

Wednesday night I took this photo from the bottom of the hill where I lost the tire Monday.

The highways get very slow this time of year due to the sun in people’s eyes. If it isn’t cloudy, there are a LOT of people on the secondary roads.

But, it can be a nicer drive.

Across the water is the dam my wife and I walked over on Sunday the week before. Wish the weather had been like this…

Friday was game night.

As it will be winter soon, we had a last cookout of sausage.

I’ve been playing Tsuro on my iPad a lot lately, so brought the physical game to game night.

It is different playing humans.

Then, with Halloween impending, we played the zombie game again.

As before, there were a lot of zombies after us.

We did the same scenario as last time. But, this time we won.

That’s a big chicken.

Saturday we drove about a bit before going off to our show.
