Their fur is fairly stiff and not really that fluffy. It is fairly short too, maybe 2cm long. The closest thing I could compare it to is something like a tooth brush. Not really soft, but not really too hard either. And, this one was very young. So, I don't know if when they get to be full size (1 meter long and 50 kg) they may be stiffer.
