This week’s practice
Oct. 30th, 2016 07:27 pmIt was a weird sky as we set off for practice.

To me it looked like ocean surf at the horizon.

Just as we were getting ready to leave the landlord of our practice space emailed me that "people are here to see you".
That’s a bit strange for a yard we rent for 3 hours a week in another state…
Turned out it was Jose. He’s one of our former members who dropped out after he and his wife had their second kid. His wife doesn’t really like him doing this. So, he brought his wife’s sister with him to sword practice.
That still made for a fairly small number of people.

Jose hasn’t done a show with us in almost two years, so Tom and I reminded him of some of the things he used to do.

He remembered pretty well give the time lapse.

My wife worked with him too.

And, I worked with my wife some too.

Most of the leaves are off the trees now. That means people leave trails through them as they practice.

It did start to rain a bit, so we headed off home.

As we got closer to home we there seemed to be a lot of police at Burger King.

There are only two more practices this year. We’re going to do them at Tom’s house so he doesn’t need to find someone to watch his kids and his wife can keep on her schedule.
So, this was our last practice in Connecticut this year.
We should be back in January…
