OCCUPATION: I design robot freezers.
OCCUPATIONAL HISTORY: I’ve designed ice cream makers, music synthesizers, telecom equipment, recreational vehicle accessories, laser markers, inspection equipment, office furniture and robot freezers at two different companies.
CAREER GOALS: To keep designing new and interesting things.

FAMILY

PARENTS: My dad died in 2000. We didn’t get along. My mother is still alive. We get along worse than I did with my dad.
SIBLINGS: I haven’t heard anything from my sister since 1994. I haven’t heard anything from my brother since 2000. My brother has sent me a birthday card or two. Usually with some sort of attempt to make me feel guilty about not talking to our mother.

No kids of our own, but we do have two godchildren. They’re cool.

PETS: Not since the snake died.

IDENTITY AND BELIEFS

SEXUAL ORIENTATION/RELATIONSHIPS: I’m a straight guy who has been married to my wife for 23 years, 22 days and about 5 1/2 hours right now. My wife and I were together for 10 years before we got married so we’re almost at 1/3 of a century together.
MENTAL HEALTH: There is a history of people (mostly therapists) saying to me "I don’t know how you got through what you’re telling me without being screwed up." I have no idea what that says about my mental health, but it always annoys me when they say that. I always think "you don't know how to get through what I've already managed. How are you going to help me with the stuff I'm having trouble with..." But, I digress.
PHYSICAL HEALTH: I’m and old fat guy. I do sword fight a bunch. But, I’m still an old fat guy. I’m allergic to a whole bunch of things. I gave up drinking 3 decades ago because I used up my lifetime supply of alcohol.
POLITICAL LEANING: I hate all the parties out there. But, I don’t know anyone who would call me conservative…
RELIGIOUS AFFILIATION: Yeah, that’s a long story. Right now I’m not affiliated with any. I think of myself as Christian. But, it’s been a few years since I attended church.
LANGUAGES SPOKEN: English. Frankspeak. Some dialects of dog. I’ve tried other human languages, but just don’t do it well. 4 years of Spanish in school and I can ask how to get to the library…
