Soggy practice

The rain that started with our visit to the viking ship yesterday continued today.
But, as we have a show next weekend, we set off for practice anyhow.


The leaves are close to their peak of color, but it was cloudy, damp and dreary.


Still can be pretty.


The rain is knocking a lot of leaves off of the trees, so I don’t know how long it will be pretty.


But, we really need the water. We’ve had quite a drought. So, it was nice to see the lakes filling up a bit.


It’s hard to get a photo of the rain, but trust me, it was there.


We spent a lot of time planning out what we’re going to do next month in Alabama.


And, we practiced for next week’s fire show.

However, it was raining enough to put out the fire outdoors, and we can’t actually do fire indoors, so it was a fire practice without fire.


Then, back through the rainy day to home.

I'm glad you got some rain. You definitely needed it. We have been having far too much rain here, it seems like every day at work people are comparing the latest flood photos from my town and around :P
