Sword fighting anniversary

It was a cloudy, damp and cool Sunday, but we set off for sword practice anyhow.
It was also our 23rd wedding anniversary and almost everyone called Sunday morning to say they couldn’t make it. But, we went anyhow.
Some folks have asked about my taking photos while driving. This shows it going bad. It went off in my hand, with the flash, as I tried to raise the camera.

Despite this, we had no problem getting across the Worcester bridge.

It was cool, damp and cloudy at the practice grounds too.

As few folks were there, and the ones on their way have a long drive and get there late, we did a lot of warm up exercises.

But, the others got there eventually. We are continuing to write the fight where I fight father and son.

I am never known to goof around at a sword practice…

We also practiced a bunch of the historical styles.

The owner of the practice grounds had been out at a car show with his T-Bird, but did return while we were there.

My wife and Ian took stock of all the fire supplies, but as it was very damp and not a lot of folks were there, we didn’t actually light anything up.

On the way home, we noted a lot more of the leaves had turned.

We did see a dog driving a car. Don’t see that every day.

As it was our anniversary, my wife and I went out to dinner.

The "Texas Roadhouse Steak House" has a lot of Pokemon frequent it. Including one I’ve never actually seen so only shows up as a silhouette.

Never did find out what it was.
It would have been more fun if more folks had showed up. But, still not a bad day.
