Yesterday’s sword practice
May. 30th, 2016 02:10 pmIt was a very polleny day yesterday.

It is good my wife sniffed the flowers she liked at practice last week as they were pretty well done yesterday.

It is a 3 day weekend here, so we weren’t sure how many folks would show up.

We were surprised that not only John showed up, but

Sadly, neither one of them can come to the show we’re doing at the end of June.
So, we’ve decided not to rent the practice space next month. If only my wife and I are doing the show, why rent the space just for us to practice.
John might still come over to our place to stay in practice. We’ll see.
Anyhow, we did falchion/messer review of several manuals.

I also read some other moves from a book we have not researched much.

I did some of it too.

They also practiced the rapier.

For some reason they started doing Fabris. Don’t know why…

But, soon they were back to De Grassi.

Going home, Worcester’s weather was not as good as at the practice ground.

We had a squirrel honor guard coming home. As we turned into the parking lot, a squirrel jumped in front of our car and kept running in front of us.

Not sure what was up with that.
But, one of the birds seems to have come back to visit the old homestead. Don’t know if it will stay.

My wife made cookies, then we went over to
We saw 100% of their dogs, but only 40% of their cats.
Despite that, it was a nice dinner with good company!
