More on the impending storm

The predicted snowfall for this Saturday has switched between at least 5" (13cm) and 0" (0cm).

And, I don’t mean over the last few days.
I checked the prediction every so often during the day today and this is the amount of minimum snow predicted over the day:


I think between 10AM and noon some folks were fighting over the display…

So, sometimes it was changing minute by minute how much they expected.
And, 0 to 5, not just a little bit.

Right now they’re saying less than 1" (2cm).

Who knows what it will really be.

But, it makes it VERY hard to plan anything for the weekend.

I love that you graphed this!

And that I'm not the only person who has checked several times. I'm trying to plan whether I'm driving to NY or not, and darnit the changing predictions is really making that hard!

All day yesterday they said we'd get nothing.
Today it is back to 2-7cm...

I am so sorry. They are saying that we are supposed to get 6 to 8 inches this weekend.
