MILBURY TOO!
Date: 2008-07-19 01:33 pm (UTC)I'm guessing that speed trap is still alive and well there.
The cop that gave me the ticket lived in Milbury and I was the Property Tax Revaluation MAN for the Town.
Too bad that he put an addition on his house without getting a building permit!
Too bad for him that he also gave the Town assessor a ticket the previous week!
He was just doing his job, and I was just doing mine!
Ahh, justice!

Date: 2008-07-22 01:56 pm (UTC)One of the things I've learned to do over the years is to find out what the enforcement speeds are and try to stick to those, except when flowing at a higher overall traffic speed.
Though when I got pulled over in Texas due to a night time speed change - as the limits dropped from 80 to 65 - in what looked like daylight to me and having the cop tell me that the sun had set 35 minutes ago and that they start ticketing 30 minutes after sunset, was upsetting.
Would've fought it except for having to go to Texas for it.

Date: 2008-07-22 03:35 pm (UTC)I try and stick with them too.
But, it was late, I was tired, the car in front of me was going the same speed...
He got a ticket too...
