Week in photos
Jul. 11th, 2015 07:36 pmMy wife had to work Monday, but I had it off. In addition to the 4 loads of laundry, shopping and errands, I scanned a bunch of old photos from 13-15 years ago when we were starting the sword troupe.

This is actually from the year we got married.

It was a humid week.

But, some of the sun rises were nice.

They told us that we had to keep our cars out of the parking lot of our apartment so they could repaint the parking lines.
Wednesday night, lines were still old…

Thursday there were strange things on the highway.

Thursday, new lines!

But, not all of them.

Friday, I saw my car out on the highway. Strange as I was in my car at the time.

I’m not sure if it is time travel or parallel universes.
Either way, I’m keeping an eye out.
Maybe I ended up in the universe where all the lines were painted.

Today was very nice.

So, I drove into Worcester to get my haircut.

Later, I finally put the plants out on the balcony. It’s been summer for 3 weeks. It’s about time.

Then, my wife and I went out to the deli for lunch.

I might have found the cause of LJ problems…

It certainly was "hairy" getting on this morning.
Apparently they now sell powdered peanut butter. For folks allergic, that seems like it’s been weaponized to me. Good thing I don’t have a problem with peanuts…

My year old balloon has finally stopped floating.

That’s a very good run for a balloon.
My wife and I are doing cleaning today, so it is appropriate to take it out.
It’s lived a very good life for a balloon. I’m still sad to see it go.

Date: 2015-07-12 01:01 am (UTC)i'm curious as to wtf powdered peanuts could be used for other than nefarious things... there is a LOT of oil in nuts. it'd go rancid pretty quick i thought.

Date: 2015-07-12 11:21 am (UTC)My boss at work had his birthday a few weeks ago, and he ended up with 3 mylar balloons tied to his office chair.
He was then on vacation for a week and when he got back they were gone. One of them either unravelled itself
and floated to the very high ceiling (at least 2 stories high), or he untied them or whatever (no one's talking)
Anyway, I'm trying to keep note how long that one stays up there.
As for weaponized powdered peanut butter, yeah, wtf?!
Someone at the plant forgot to add oil and they decided to say "let's package it anyway! It's like Astronaut Peanutbutter or something!"
