I was stupid
I like that my bathing suit has pockets.
But, after an hour of swimming in the ocean yesterday, it was sad to see my car keys were still in the pocket. Especially as both cars use electronic keys.
They do seem to still work. The water isn't very deep there.
But, we'll see if they keep working.

Day 6
We lingered on the beach a bit this morning, so got a later start than normal.
But, there are places right there on the beach with all you can eat breakfasts.
Let’s face it. If there is a place I’m going to linger...
Some time just before breakfast marked the 35 anniversary of my wife and my first kiss. While we were asleep would have been when we met. (6 hour time difference and we met at a party that didn’t start until 22:00 US time.)
Funny to think of all we’ve done in those 35 years. I certainly hadn’t imagined breakfast on a beach in Europe after doing a sword show at a museum being on that road when we stepped onto it.
And yet, it was.
Once breakfast was done, we went off to a castle:

It was a nice place. Several do it yourself walking tours and one guided tour. The tour was in Dutch, but they gave you laminated sheets in your home language to read along. (That reminds me of something...)
Then we drove back to the airport near Amsterdam, turned in the car and checked into the hotel attached to the airport.
It’s not the beach, but I’m all for a short walk to the terminal tomorrow morning.
We found out that we made the local news for the sword festival. Very cool.
