A fun day with friends

When I went out to get my hair cut this morning I reflected on how the salt in our parking lot was less than evenly distributed.

But, I still went to get my haircut.
"Your hair is very thick and fluffy,” the woman who cuts my hair said.
"As a 50 year old guy, I’m OK with that," I said.
When I got home I found my wife making very strange cupcakes.

"They are made from the blood of my enemies," she said.
That’s all well and good. But, when will 'my' enemies be turned into baked goods?
They still looked good when done.

Yes, they say "love" on them.
Aren’t you supposed to love your enemies?
Even if you use their blood for baked goods?
Then

As always, there was quite the space ship jam on the table.

This time my side went well.

I think that is because Yebo was on my team. He had fantastically good dice luck that none of us could understand. Finally we realized he is the only one of us who goes to church, so maybe he was getting divine help.
This didn’t stop his ship from falling off of its base in play.

And, he had to leave early to go take care of the impending game night.
So, I took over his ships.

And, his ships did win.

After the game, I showed Perrin some of the new sword moves we’re working on.

Then, we set off through the snow for

It took a bit to go the 3 miles, but we all got there.

Given how much snow was coming down, we got more folks than I had expected.

We all played Dixit.

I hadn’t remembered to bring my expansions, but we still managed to get all folks playing.

Then we played Guillotine, the game of beheading French nobles.

It seems to be

Then we mostly just visited.

But, eventually back out in the snow to head home.

It was a nice day.
As I’ve said before, this is my least favorite day. And, the first time it has fallen on a Saturday since the awful events of 2003.
So, I can’t think of a better way to have spent it than having fun with good friends!
