What would Worf say?

I usually shop at the supermarket 1/4 mile from our house. But, they aren’t very good about restocking the things we like. So, sometimes I’ve got to go off to others in the chain to find what I want. Last month I talked about how that store in Westboror uses phasers to scan your groceries.
Today I went back there to look for stuff my store was out of. I walked around with the scanner, scanned the stuff as I put it in the cart, then I went to the register.
Apparently I got picked as a random check and a clerk had to come over and make sure I scanned all the stuff in my cart like I am supposed to.
After the first dozen things, all of which showed as scanned, she agreed I seemed to be playing by the rules and let me go.
This seems to negate the benefit of the scanners. It’s only the third time I have used them. If 33% of the time I’ve got to spend extra time with a clerk going through everything I’ve already bagged, I’m not sure it’s worth it.
But, I don’t go there much anyhow...
I sent out my first three DVD’s for the job search today. They cost about $1 to make and $1.50 to mail. So, I want to avoid doing hundreds.
I doubt it will work. But, I might get lucky with one...
