Strange dream

Last night I dreamed that our friend who does viking reenactment won the lottery big time and bought an island in the Caribbean and made it a viking training ground.

One of the things he was testing was how vikings might fight in the water. In the dream, he knew that I once did a lot of swimming and was a licensed scuba diver, so he invited us to come down and take part.

He had 4 students stand in a very large pool that was up to their waists. He then told me I had to swim past them and touch all 4 corners of the pool as they tried to hit me with sticks underwater.

I did it without problem.
This seemed to make him mad as he expected his students would be able to stop me.

He told me I had to do it again, but he told me I had to dive off of a tall platform into the water first to simulate someone jumping off of a cliff.

The dream ended as I got ready to jump off.

My wife told me she also had a dream about meeting up with an old friend at a beach resort where she had to do physical labors for her friend.

Strange we should both have dreams with old friends, beach resorts and physical contests at the same time.
Wonder if that means something…
