Today we drove up to our friend Tom’s in New Hampshire for a cookout.

He had a whole lot of food.

We mostly just visited with him as he cooked.

The bees seemed really interested in the spices he cooked with, salt and garlic.

Not the kind of things I think bees normally go for. But, maybe there was sugar in the marinade he got on them. I don’t know.
There weren’t a whole lot of folks there, and many were Tom’s family.

And, of course, Tom burnt things.

After seeing what his uncle collected for a "couple of pieces" of fire wood, I understood where he got it.

Then, for reasons no one understood, Tom’s son began floating up in the air.

Tom tried to get him to come down, but he just kept flying around the yard.

Finally he came low enough that Tom caught him and kept him from flying off again.

Tom thought the pool was why it happened, so we dumped the water just in case.

His son did seem willing to keep on the ground after that, even when fetching more wood.

When we got home, we saw a squirrel eating toast. This is not normal in our area.

On a totally different note, yesterday at the hardware store I saw an "Art Flag" for said that was "Designed from Original Art".

I’m not sure what "Designed from Original Art" means…
