Annoyed…

I’ve been having vision problems in my left eye for about 7 years now.
Part of the treatment for that is to go to a specialist once a year to get the progress examined.

The last few months, it’s been acting up again, but I’ve had an appointment for July 10th and I said “wait for that”.

Yesterday they called me and told me my appointment with Dr. Weisman would have to be cancelled as Dr. Weisman wouldn’t be in on Monday.
“My appointment is with Dr. Eisenberg,” I said.
“No, it isn’t.”
“Yes, it is. I’ve been seeing him about this since 2016.”
“If you want to change doctors you’ll have to do that on another call.”
“I don’t want to change doctors, I want to see Dr. Eisenberg as I have for the last 7 years.”
“Monday is cancelled. You have to call back for another appointment.”

This morning I called back and told them I needed to reschedule an appointment that they had cancelled.
“And, please make sure it is with Dr. Eisenberg as he’s my normal doctor.”
“Yes, I see that,” the person on the phone said. “I don’t know why you had been listed with someone else.”
“I also found that confusing. Please make sure all my appointments are with Dr. Eisenberg.”

So, now it is August 16th instead of July 10th.
I am annoyed at this.
But, it is with the right doctor…
