It looks like someone cracked the evil robot at the supermarket over the head. It wasn’t me…

Yeah, gas. At least my car still gets good milage.

My company flys a pride flag. I don’t remember that before life science split into it’s own company…

My wife and I took Friday off and headed south.

We went through that tunnel I had seen from the airplane only 5 days before.

And, we were soon in NYC to cross over into New Jersey.

The New Jersey Turnpike had a big slow down due to a truck fire, even if 9 of the 12 lanes were separated from it.

We did eventually get to Philadelphia.

And, although later than hoped, we did get to the art museum there.

My wife has a statue like this at home. It’s much smaller…

Of course, we went to see the swords first.

My wife and I each found a favorite and found that both our picks were made in the town in Germany we performed in 4 years ago.

We did look at other things too. I also have a favorite halberd…

We have a fight book that says this one is the best weapon there is to use. Too bad we’ve never found a good replica to try…

We did not jog up the Rocky steps in front of the museum. But, they do have a statue out there to the fictional boxer from this city.

We spent much more time in the medieval and asian areas.

We did roam around the park next to the museum some too.

We had trouble reading this inscription.

The machines to pay for parking had issues and we only found one working.

Then we drove back to New Jersey to find our hotel near the bridge where they seemed very happy to see us.

Then, back into the car to go off and see our friends play.

Welcome to New Jersey the traffic state.

It was a ways from the city.

We did get to the town it was in.

The river through ti did not inspire…

We found the place it was going to be and went in.

Afterwards we met with our friends who were involved.

The next day we were up early for breakfast.

At the hotel, one elevator had a broken indicator, the other not. Don’t know what that was about.

We went across the bridge to where our class was.

The class was very interesting.

We got lunch from the small market next door that had the largest bleach collection I’ve ever seen in one place. No. I don’t think they just like to be clean…

At the end of the day, back across the bridge.

The next morning there were waves of rain that at times made it hard to see the city on the other side of the river.

But, back across we went.

Most of the second day was sparing. Some folks seemed very into it.

Some folks had very ornate armor that I thought was very cool.

One thing they did do was a tug of war. I was on team "Oh No!" that had several folks of my build on it.

We won.

We did head home before noon.

But, traffic was so bad we didn’t see landmarks near home until after 6.
