Weekend in photos

Yesterday we picked up our friend at the train station and then headed to the Phoenix Swords Holiday Party.



Sadly there was a mixup with the reservation, so they weren't ready for us. My wife was quite upset.


They were still able to get us a table for 18 in a reasonable time and everyone had a good time.





As I often do I had a trivia contest with 4 categories of our performances, our shows, our sources and our props we use. Ian won 3 of the 4 categories and the over all first place.
I need more tie breaker questions as there were a lot of ties.

My wife likes to go to the holiday light show at the local botanical garden: https://nebg.org/
But, since we were doing the Salem show the weekend of her birthday, we didn’t get to.
However, this year they decided to run it an extra week. So, I got her tickets for it for the evening after the holiday party.

It was cold and windy and we dressed with our Antarctica coats, and needed it, but it was still a good time.


































The hat kept my head warm, but when we got home we found it gave me "who hair" in the terms of my wife.


Today we went to lunch at a local Chinese place we like.


I spent time trying to figure out this graffiti on their fountain, but didn’t manage to decode it.


For her birthday, my wife had wanted to go to a tea room about an hour from home: https://www.shellystearooms.com/
But, as was said, we were doing a show on her birthday. So, I made a reservation for today, 6 days later.







It was a good time and we both enjoyed it a lot.

The drive home took longer than expected due to a 4 car accident right near the Mass Turnpike, but we still got home before 6.
