Two practices and the week between
Last week at practice one of the new people returned. That’s nice as I was getting worried we had lost them after a month of not seeing them.
But, they showed up and we taught them some dagger. They also got very good at the twirly thing we plan to do with fire eventually.
The chickens next door to our practice space were very impressed.
On the way home there were a lot of police on the bridge. Don’t know why.
Going in Tuesday 2/3 of the highway was shut down for construction. This took me an extra 20 minutes to get past at 5:30AM…
I had to move the used machine we got to a different table, which I’m not sure is strong enough. But, not my call.
Then, I went to visit our company HQ. The Friday before IT had changed my broken laptop for a new one very quickly. So, I bought them a present so the lights won’t keep going dark for them every 5 minutes.
The head of IT hugged me for giving it to them…
The leaves are finally starting to change.
Friday traffic was very bad. I’m glad I drove home at lunch and avoided it.
Saturday we had a nice Zoom call with our goddaughter and her dad.
I notice that the Sea People are active again. Didn’t go well 3200 years ago.
The weather was good at practice today. Same group of folks. Same practicing things.
The drive home we saw the water behind the dam was low, despite the large amount of rain this year.
And, there is still a lot of green, even this late in the year.
