Solstice celebrations

Our friends got tickets for us for the Revels performance on the actual solstice, which is the best time to see it.

So, on our way into Cambridge we stopped at our favorite Chinese place.

Then into Cambridge. Not only do my direction senses not work well there, but they seem to decorate based on Doctor Who Christmas specials.

We got there in plenty of time.

The hall is a memorial to a war 150+ years ago. It’s nice enough.

We were very impressed with the head pieces of the ushers.

Every year it has a different setting. This year was Great Depression. A bit strange when they talk about it being so long ago and I thought "my father’s sophomore year of college…"

Just after this I was told to stop taking photos…

But, I still noted how long the bathroom line was at intermission.

We did get good parking. You can see my car across the street from the venue.

Wow, your father is much older than mine! He wasn't born until it was well in the past.

My father was born in 1940.
