What do I need?

A number of folks I know are talking about what ads Facebook shows them.
So, today when I went to Facebook I took screen shots of what it thought I needed.

In the morning, more rest and some sort of reality show.

Mid-morning satellite TV and plastic food.

25 years ago I used to order plastic parts from Monsanto. This memory does not encourage me to order food from them.
Yet, they are quite persistent in trying to get me to go for their plastic food.
And, get some new underwear too.

Or maybe new sneakers and plastic food.

Or, maybe a shirt and plastic food.

Finally by the end of the afternoon it must have figured out I was going home soon so switched to car servicing and gadgets.

Only when I got home did it come to anything I really might order: Star Trek toys.
And, since I eat all that plastic food and watch satellite TV in my new clothes, I must need to work out, so something for that too.

That does remind me I need to bring in my bike from the balcony and put it back on its stand so I can use it as an exercise bike. I put it on the balcony when the kids got here so we’d have more room.

I have not bought any of these items and do not plan to do so. While the Nebula Class ship is very nice, I’m not paying $40 for a ship smaller than my thumb…

I have adblock but I turned it off for Facebook and I'm not seeing any ads yet. Maybe I have to tweak it. I'm curious to see what it thinks I will be interested in!

Interesting. I don't see any of those ads, but I guess I just get the NZ versions. So, thermal undies instead of clothes, different TV stations, alternative plastic food.

Fluff Busting Purity is a wondrous browser plugin that makes all of that go away! :D

The only thing that would tempt me is the Star Trek ship ... ;-)

I've never had the Monsanto ads - I guess they know better than to try in Germany!

It is actually #7 that went bad and 8 showed up as 7.
I'll try and fix that when I get home tonight...

Now 7&8 are the same image?

Nope. But, you may need to refresh your buffer to see both...

Mine just gives me either cute dresses for cheap or weight loss.
