Strange dream

I dreamed we were doing a Phoenix Swords job at some sort of large science fiction convention or other type thing. Not a renaissance fair.

We were told to perform in some sort of athletic field that was a very long distance from the main convention. Far enough that you couldn't even see it from there.

It was night, cloudy, damp and foggy. We had all of our fire show stuff in a big shopping cart on the field.
My wife and I were there with mariness, perrin_o_ravnos and a friend of mariness's who reminded me of one of the characters in the Arrow TV show. (Sin is the one if you watch the show.)

As it was far away, damp and dark, no one was showing up to our show.
Perrin and Sin seemed to be getting along pretty well, and she decided it would be fun to run off with our shopping cart of supplies.

We chased after them, but they were faster than we were.
They went around a corner.
When we got there we saw the bridge was out and the river under it at flood stage.
Somehow the two of them had managed to get out onto a rock in the middle of the river with our cart of supplies.
They didn't seem to be in any danger, but couldn't get any farther across the river. And, it isn't clear if they could get back until the flood was over.

My wife and I looked at each other.

"You kids have fun!" I shouted.
We walked back to the hotel.
Dream ends

I know we had been talking a lot about conventions with Mariness. And, had discussed the one show she did with us in Mobile many years ago.
Last night I bought something at Disney that I said I was going to give to Perrin.
And, we spent a lot of time discussing Arrow.

But, that's a weird way to put it all together.

Sorry Perrin. If you're ever trapped in a river in real life, I'll try to do something to get you out of it.

That's the thing, I was leaving on the rock with that woman, not trying to rescue you.
I'm not sure you wanted to be rescued, but that's another matter...
