Star Trek
It was very strange. All the ads, all the posters, websites, etc all said
the new Star Trek movie was opening today, the 17th.
But, when I checked the internet yesterday for something else, it told me
it was opening on Thursday the 16th instead.
So,
blue_micha, my wife and I went off to see it last night.
I’ve seen all of the Star Trek movies opening night. I have never seen a
theater so empty for it.
There were only 9 people in the whole place.
I’ll grant you, it wasn’t 3D, so maybe there were more in those theaters.
But, 9 people at the 7:15 show on opening night?
Not a good sign for ticket sales.

If you don't like Star Trek, I'm not sure you're missing out at all.
Even if you like Star Trek, some are probably not worth it. (1,5,7,9,10)

I thought this was the second one - the one that has just come out now.
Wow. I'm really behind.

But after 10 of them they decided to start over and reset everything with a new cast, new stories and all that.
So, this is the second of that new batch.
But, the 12th over all.
