The highest milage vehicle in the USA is not enough for a tax credit.

They finally came out with the updated tax credits so I could finish our taxes.
Apparently even having the car rated the best milage in the US last year is not enough to get the “High milage vehicle” credit. It has to be all electric or similar.

But, my checking to see if it qualified marked me down for having one, and it took me more than an hour to get that back off the form.

The good thing for me, if not others, is a bunch of other folks had the same problem so there were lots of suggestions on how to fix it on line.

Now they’re done and in. I just have to wait and see if I’m audited for losing so much money on the sword troupe last year. But, three of our major venues either closed or did not rehire us. What can you do?

I think we all have to be brave even facing taxes these days... We're really worried about our taces this year. (sigh)

Good luck with it, Frank...

I hope that I am wrong, but I am thinking that taxes NEXT year are going to be quite a bit worse. We'll see if the government is able to do anything with their 'tax reform' this year - though so far, it seems the only thing that they ARE capable of doing is going on vacation.

Argh. My sympathies.
