Wow
I’ve been on a quest for my hunter character in WOW to get 100 mounts and make that special achievement. Of course, your reward is one more mount.
After working on this since October, I’m at 99 mounts.
There are a few more things that if I just keep doing them every day I’ll get the last one in about a week. So, I haven’t done them since Wednesday. But, I also know if I wait until next week I could make my 100th mount a special dancing Bear. And there is some attraction to that idea.
I did hear that there were 3 different mounts you could get under the skill of archeology in the game. So, I worked on the skill. I got little pets and phoenixes, which are cool. But, now having raised my skill to the maximum in the game, no mounts.
Every year they have an in game Lunar Festival that is very similar to Chinese New Year. I always like this festival as it was during this festival several years ago that I started playing.
So, last night my wife and I were running some of our other characters around to do that celebration.
When we ran through one high level area, I was chased by a spider that was so high level it was just listed as a death’s head for me.
I ran away from it, and lived. But, it chased me. Normally creatures in WOW only chase you a short distance and stop.
But, this one chased me all the way back to the capitol city.
And I tried to fly away from it and it chased me.
It chased me all the way to the Dwarf capitol city.
Even when I rode out of town and back in, it cased me and followed me back.
It was actually quite fun to have a high level monster follow me around without attacking me.
It was particularly funny when other players tried to attack it. The spider followed me, and these folks followed the spider. It was quite the parade.
