Sushi saves the day

Yesterday we had crab cakes for lunch. Neither one of us noticed that the ingredients listed milk. And, even if I had it was pretty far down the list and they were cooked, so I probably would have risked it anyhow.

In the afternoon I felt really bad. Headache, fever and generally sick. It was to the point where I even went and took a nap. As I’ve know several people to die of taking naps, I try and avoid them as they are so risky.

When dinner time came I was still not feeling well. But, we went out for sushi.
Some miso soup, sushi and gyoza and I started feeling much, much, much better.

It is amazing to me how eating one thing can make me feel so rotten and another think can offset it so quickly.
But, I’m glad it works that way.

Also it wasn't enough milk to set off my lactose intolerance reaction. Strange how they have different trigger points. Usually I hit both. I'm glad I didn't yesterday.

Glad you were able to find a "remedy" and isn't odd that something small can cause such a large reaction. sigh
