Game night & other things

It was a pretty small game night last night.
For the first two hours it was me, my wife, [livejournal.com profile] yebo & [livejournal.com profile] zosh. And, it’s held at their house, so they have to be there.

Eventually Tim showed up and we did place some games.
We started with the Pirate, Monkey, Robot, Ninja game.

Then we tried a card matching game.

Then we did the animal dice game.

Finally we played Tim’s dice game.

This morning the squirrel my wife says does acrobatics was back on our balcony.

It likes to sit on our plant hanger and launch out over our other plants.

However, today it seemed to be out of practice. It launched up, banged its head on the ceiling of the balcony and went tumbling out over the edge. It did catch itself on the edge of our astroturf and pull itself back up. (Sorry no photos of that. It was very fast and I was laughing.)

As it took the safer climb up, my wife came out of the bedroom wondering what was going on.

It was also time to clean my wedding rings.

I know some of you jewelry makers out there would like it if I don’t use O-rings, but I remain allergic to most metals and unwilling to experiment with expensive ones.

You mean the little furry bastard that *bangs* the plant hanger against our bedroom wall?

Hey- if the o-rings work for you, cool! But if you ever want to play with other metals, we can do a small-scale test to make sure it's OK for you- I've done that for others.
