Some of those are pretty awesome. I love the last one and the one with the crab especially.

Ironically, I am lusting after a professional grade camera at the moment - far larger than your Olympus or mine. Nikon 5100. The kind I would come to you Faire with and do portraits and action shots and be able to charge for them later ... THAT kinda camera.

Gregg looked at a pocket sized water proof Olympus and said that's the one we should get next for my "back of the motorcycle" shots. Maybe you should look at that one and then compare and shop around.

But I mourn with you. As far as objects go, the death of a camera is among the most difficult for me.

Thank you.

I'm not really after the super cameras. They'd be cool and all. But, I really just want something to catch the things I see. If I could just download my eyes, I'd take that.

This guy recommends all sorts of cameras for all sorts of needs, and includes sample shots taken with each camera. Also gives instruction for taking better photos, and notes that it's not the camera that takes great shots, it's the photographer.

Awesome site.

That is a very cool site.
I'm also happy to see the camera I picked out is listed on his good list.
