Can you even do that?

Three weeks ago, I dropped a box on my right big toe while carrying stuff at a Phoenix show.
It has hurt a lot since then. But, not on the toe nail where I dropped it, but back at the joint where the big toe connects to the rest of the foot.

Last night while cooking dinner I knocked a half full bottle of soda off the counter and it landed on its flat side on the same toe.

This morning, the swelling is down for the first time in 3 weeks and it feels a whole lot better. Still not quite right, but much, much better then it did.

I’m wonder if this means I had dislocated my toe and the soda bottle put it back.
I’m not even sure if you can dislocate a toe. But, that’s the only thing I can think of where a second whack might make it feel better.

Either way, I hope it keeps up feeling better.

Only you could drop something on your foot, to fix dropping something on your foot. Glad it is feeling better.

It certainly is possible -

and I agree - only YOU could find a way to drop something on the same foot to help put it back! I think that I sw something like this in a Bowery Boys movie, or maybe it was the stooges ?
