Flora in Winter 2025
Every year the Worcester Art Museum does a one weekend special event where they bring in florists to make special arrangements to match the art. This weekend is that weekend.

As i’ve said before, the art museum being across the street from where I met my wife back in 1983 is always nice when we go there.
And, a state police helicopter was circling there area, never found out why…
A lot of the museum is being rebuilt/updated and wasn’t open. So, it seemed a bit smaller than normal as a bunch of galleries were closed.
As always there are pieces that are there to specifically match pieces of art.
My wife liked this one.

I thought this one was VERY abstract…
I did like this one too…
Some we could see without problem. Some there were crowds were in front of and just didn’t want to move.
And, there are things there as general decoration that don’t go with specific pieces.
Including some in the bathrooms.
And, there are things new to the museum since the last time we’ve been there that don’t have anything to do with the special event.
There was a special exhibit on nude art. But, it’s a special exhibit so no photos…
Any a nice sword.

Looked like a lot of the pieces were pretty good this time around.
I also liked the ones you both liked, and also liked the Gladiator hemet one

Anyway. Amazing display this time. I loved all of them. My favorite was the carved stone pillar, I can totally see where they were going with the red and blue orb thingy.

So, I get where they were going. And, I like it. But most just try and capture the form and color. Trying to capture the motion is another level.
