Pensacola: Saturday’s shows

Saturday morning everyone was happy and excited to get up and go to the show early to practice what’s we’d be doing.

While others got going, I made a market run for supplies.

Sadly, not a lot of my wife’s favorite soda.

I’m not sure what this was about.

Folks were practicing and setting up.

Because of my hurt arms I was only able to do one sword fight. This was very disappointing to me.

Others did more of the things I normally do.

Including the fight I wrote with our special guest star. It’s good Ian filled in for me, but I wish I had been able to do it.

At least I had a cool hat…

Sword vs Papaya, no winners.

I saw these folks, complete with coconut horse.

Then our fight shows happened.

My wife got the wrong shirt for the fire show and used mine instead. Yes, there was a way I could tell.

Tom was very impressed.

Casey got ready and I kicked another act we knew off of our stage.

It was windy, so eating was done where the wind is blocked.

Casey is crazy.

Tom too.

Then more fire.

My wife did her meteors too.

And, fire breath.

For dinner we went to the "Mello Mushroom" pizza place. I took over their gym until our guest start took it back.

The pizza was good, but the service bad. Slow, they got orders wrong and just forgot things.

the fire-stuff is always very impressive to watch and it seems they have a lot of fun doing it too.

ooooh.

I am sorry your injury kept you from participating the way you would have liked. It looks like everything worked out well though!

I own a set of coconut shells for that very reason. =D
