Fire show safety

Casey had been booked for a fire show this weekend at a child care center near where he lived that shares a parking lot with the Marlboro hospital:

He didn’t want to do a fire show for a lot of kids without some safety help, so he asked us to come be his backup for that. My wife and I agreed, so gassed up the car to head off.

(Because you can’t have a fire show without fuel, right?)
It was a beautiful fall day.

It was only a 15 minute drive for us.

He also asked us to bring some new fire blankets as his old were pretty worn.

We had a parking lot to use as a stage.

While not doing fire shows, he had juggling sticks he let folks use.

Another guy had musical instruments for folks to try. That’s pretty cool.

But, we were there for fire and fire was done.

Two of the shows were before sunset, but the last was after.

OK, it looks better when it moves.
