Pokemon update
I guess I’ve been quiet about playing Pokemon lately because last night my wife asked “Do you still play that?”
I was a bit surprised as less than a week ago there was discussion of Pokemon at Viking ships.
But, yes, I do still play.
Lately I have passed both 100 different kinds captured and more than 2000 over all seen. (And, today I got my 300th Pidgey…)
I’ve only been tracking the statistics since the end of August when I found they were available. But, on average I see just more than 21 a day. And, just over one new type a day.
The rate of new ones I see is constantly dropping as there are only so many kinds and as I find more that limits how many new ones are left to find.
The upturn in the number of types I’ve found in October is because after more than 90 days of capturing them, I’m now reaching the point where I have been able to evolve many that have been waiting most of that time.
There are still 42 I haven’t even seen and 10 more I’ve seen, but never captured. A few I don’t even remember seeing.
My fish that needs to be walked 400km is down to only needed 146km. That’s still a long way to walk. But, I’m finding I walk about 2km a day just for work. Catching more of the fish, as I did at the seaport last week, really reduces that a lot too.
So, I’m still playing.
But, I’m mostly capturing Pidgeys and making Pidgey candy out of it.
