Star Wars game night

Yesterday I got all my Star Wars miniature game pieces out and set up.


yebo & palusbuteo came over and we decided how we’d play.


We each took a side and tried to either steal a shipment, or protect it.


We used quarters for the shipment, so we’re playing miniatures with real money.


palusbuteo had some trouble keeping his ships from flying into each other. But, he’s OK with it, right?


It was a lot of fun.

LOL The first time I played a game with those move things (Dragons) I was horrible at actually moving. I think it would take lots of games and practice to be able to judge that by looking.

It looks far easier than it is.
It wasn't too bad with just 3 of us playing. One time we had 8 of us and it was either hilarious or a nightmare depending on your point of view. (I thought it was hilarious...)

LOL, it was funny. I couldn't get any of my dragons in any kind of path to go in for an attack, However, my son had less problems than me, so I lost.

With the ships it is good to get a ship with a turret that can shoot in any direction.
There was confusion on one players part about that as he didn't know he needed to buy the turret first. But, he still got some of the supplies away.

Oooh, turrets. Although when we played SWG Jump to Lightspeed expansion, the turrets didn't go all the way around for us. very frustrating.

Ah.. X-Wing! I have never played it but I have watched my boyfriend and his friends play.
Speaking of which, my boyfriends playing in an X-Wing tournament this coming weekend.

I have never played in a tournament. A place near us is having on next weekend too, but it is far too busy next weekend for me to try.
