fbhjr | Halloween Party Fire Show

Two years ago a private Halloween party hired us to do a show for them. (http://fbhjr.livejournal.com/810707.html )

Last year they called us the week before Halloween, asking for a show the same day we were performing 1300 miles/2000km away in Mobile AL. We told them "no".

This year, they called in in February to book the date and make sure we would do their party again. (My wife wonders what went on last year that they were so hot to get us back this year. We have no idea…)

So, to get there in time, I left work 3 hours early.
Good thing I did. Bad traffic was a theme for the day.

But, it was in clumps. Between the clumps of bad traffic it wasn’t too bad.

When I got home, my wife was already packing the car.

It took us 3 hours to go where Google said should be 1 1/2 hours. So, it was pretty dark when we got there.

I brought the infrared camera and set it up to record the show.

They gave us a nice space in the back yard to perform and provided a lot of torches to use.

The show went quite well.

My wife and I were saying we’re not sure we ever had a fire show quite so "tight" before. Everything went off well and happened when it should. The folks watching seemed to like it.
And, they paid well.
