Happy she’s there

I never sleep well. And, last night was not an exception. Two hours at
the start of the night, two hours at the end, four hours in the middle
wishing I was sleeping.
But, it was good my wife was there. At one point she realized I was there
next to her and came out to make sure I was OK.
Even when I was in bed trying to sleep, it was good to have her there next
to me.
I still worry about things. I still have things that make me feel insecure.
But, last night I was able to lie next to her and say “she’s here now and
cares for me.”
And, that was nice.

My wife and I both snore from time to time, though at least, I will admit that I do, especially when I am really really tired. She can shake the rafters with the best of them, but is reluctant to admit it - sometimes it even scares our dogs out of the bedroom. When all of us snore (dogs too) it can get pretty crazy - so don't feel bad that you may snore sometimes, either !
