How long it stays and where is very weather dependent.
If it stays below freezing the sun will slowly burn it away, but it will take a couple of weeks.
If it gets above freezing then the main parts of it will melt away, but the places where it is piled up will last longer.
If it rains, the whole thing melts faster.
It did rain a bit yesterday, but only enough to pack it down.

Those big piles of snow are probably going to be here at least a month into spring...
