My mother required me to take out student loans and give her all the money. J and I were really broke but still had to pay those off.

And according to my mother, that did not even BEGIN to cover what I "owed" her. According to her, I "owed" her all the money forevermore. I disowned her (not because of that, but because she also refused to be basically civil to me).

But- ye godz. WTF do these people THINK???
