One of those days
It was one of those days when there wasn’t a cloud in the sky.
I know people say that all the time. But, at least here in New England, it is hardly ever true. We’re too close to the ocean and really dry days are rare.
But, even though today was hot, it was very dry and we were hard pressed to find a cloud.

It’s a bit strange for us to have free Saturdays in June. So, when it is hot and sunny we do what we thought lots of people would do. We went to the movies.
But, there weren’t a lot of people there.

In fact, there were so few people there that they made the 5 of us get up and move to a smaller theater before they would show the film. I’ve never had that happen before.
We saw Jonah Hex. It was OK. We’ve certainly seen worse comic to movie adaptations. They really needed a geography lesson as they seem to think there is some sort of big sandy desert in South Carolina. But, it is a comic book, right?
For reasons not clear to me, the Irish police, known as the Garda, were also at the movies.

That’s quite the police car too. When we were in Ireland they had much smaller ones.
When we came out of the movie, we found that there was a cloud.

I’m sure that means we’ll be back to normal and it will rain on the cookout tomorrow.
But, a nice dry day was very nice, even if it was hot.
