I know you crunch these stats. How much do you use on an extended trip (like say, this coming weekend in NJ)? If you peak, ever, over the 2k do it. 5 bucks isn't too bad for peace of mind. Unless the "fee" is so little when you go over the 2k that it makes no difference to you weather its 5 now or 20 every 4 months.
