Memorial day car & flower porn

The weather Sunday was good, so the car was back in the driveway.


You can see it has a motor and everything.


As good as blue_micha’s dad seems to be with cars, her mother is just as good with flowers.



I am particularly impressed with the rhododendrons. When I was growing up, my parent’s house had them all over the front of it. In the 17 years I lived there, I never saw them bloom.
Not only do they bloom at the practice ground, but in 4 different colors.




As it was a holiday weekend, we weren’t sure how many people were going to show up. But, a lot did, so that was nice.
My wife has been doing a lot of training of the new people.


I’d worry about them being trained to hard, but they seem willing to train back.


Other people were training too.



perrin_o_ravnos and I were showing some of the other people sickle moves.


We even demonstrated the rarely shown, get behind them and lift with the sickle in the other guy’s crotch move.

(We generally don’t do that one at shows...)

All that, and we had drum accompaniment and Perrin’s new tattoo art to see.


Today we didn’t do much. We didn’t even leave the house. We caught up some on one of the British TV shows we like that is not connected to Doctor Who in any way. (MI5/Spooks depending on who you ask.)
So, not a bad weekend.
