I commiserate - do you remember my wipeout on the ice at the corner of Franklin St. near David Clark? That was the event that caused me to get studded tires for my bike (not that that would have helped you yesterday...).

The most ignominious wipeout I ever had was one of my early rides with clipless pedals. I finished some 25 miles, and couldn't unclick. I rode around for about 15 minutes before picking a soft place in a park to fall over....
