Week(end) in photos

I really didn’t take any photos all week until Friday evening. I worked from home, I sat in front of my laptop, I did my work and not much else…

Friday was our wedding anniversary so I drove off to our favorite Indian place to pick up dinner. Driving back into the setting sun I remembered how happy I am not to be commuting right now as I’d face this ever evening.


Saturday ravena_kade invited us and brickhousewench to her place for a cookout. With autumn in progress and winter not all that far off, we decided this would be a good time to see our friends before the cold sets in.

So, off to her place we went.



We usually take the "sort" cut of going through Boston itself.


It was a nice afternoon for a cookout.


It gave me a chance to wear my new mask.


It was good food and good company and we had a very nice visit.




It was a beautiful afternoon.


We did see a lot of planes and helicopters fly over. I have to admit thinking "how come they get to go places and I don’t?"


A good sized hawk landed in a tree nearby. I don’t know if it was hoping for leftovers or something else.


It wasn’t as easy to see as it could be.


Good thing my camera has a good zoom.


We left about sunset and there was an excellent view of Boston across the harbor.



Then, we drove back through the city, out the other side and home.
